Westminster Effects Introduces New Preamp/DI Series

The new series includes the Geneva Amp Sim, Zurich Preamp, and Wittenberg Bass.

Westminster Effects

Lyman, SC (June 25, 2018) -- Westminster Effects has thrown its hat into the DI ring with three new models in time for NAMM.

The Geneva Amp Sim replicates the oft-sought after tones of the Vox AC30. It is usable as an overdrive, but it shines with its switchable cabinet simulator and XLR out, which makes it perfect as an analog option for running direct and an inexpensive option for running stereo. Street price is $219.99.

The Zurich Preamp can really be used on anything, but it shines on acoustic guitars. With volume and a two-band EQ (bass and treble), the Zurich allows an acoustic guitar’s natural tone to come through, only adjusting what’s necessary for your mix. Street price is $159.99.

The Wittenberg Bass Preamp is a parametric EQ bass preamp. Its simple-to-use three-knob configuration enables bass tones all the from fat to funky and features Volume, Frequency for setting the center frequency, and EQ to set how steep the EQ’s curvature is. Street price is $159.99.

Pre-orders begin June 25 with units shipping beginning July
