Line 6 Releases the AMPLIFi TT

The AMPLIFi TT provides a way to record over USB to Mac, PC, or iOS with low-latency monitoring.

Calabasas, CA (November 26, 2013) -- Line 6, Inc. today introduced the new AMPLIFi TT guitar tone processor, making it possible for guitarists to turn any speaker system into a guitar amp and Bluetooth® streaming system that mixes in guitar amp tones. AMPLIFi TT makes jamming, practicing, and recording easy and accessible, and enables guitarists to develop their musicianship while they interact with the music they love. The release builds on the growing momentum of the AMPLIFi product line, and provides guitarists with even more ways to play and enjoy music.

“The AMPLIFi family is the most innovative and exciting line of products for guitarists to play with,” said Marcus Ryle, Line 6 Chief Strategy Officer. “AMPLIFi TT delivers the AMPLIFi experience in an ultra-powerful yet compact size that fits everywhere, so guitarists can take advantage of every spare moment and enjoy playing guitar more often.”

AMPLIFi TT makes it easy for guitarists to plug into their favorite tones and practice, record, and relax in their home, office, or dorm room. Featuring powerful DSP processing power, AMPLIFi TT delivers over 200 award-winning amps and effects with incredible sound quality. Guitarists can choose from thousands of professionally designed presets—including the Line 6 tones heard on hundreds of hit records. Plus, AMPLIFi TT provides a streamlined way to record over USB to Mac, PC, or iOS (iOS recording via camera connection kit) with easy standalone operation and low-latency monitoring.

The AMPLIFi Remote app works with the entire AMPLIFi family, enabling guitar players to instantly dial up amazing tones on an iOS or AndroidTM device. The app connects to an ever-expanding cloud database, allowing guitarists to instantly match tones to tracks in their music library. Since the AMPLIFi product family launched in January 2014, customers have created almost 100,000 unique tones, while the number of tones available for tone-match results has nearly tripled.
