Markneukirchen, Germany (March 27, 2017) -- Framus Legacy acoustic guitar series has been expanded. The new high-end dreadnaught models FD 28 Nashville EQ and FD 28 Nashville Cutaway EQ – crafted from selected, massive woods inspire sophisticated guitar players all over the world.
The top of the Framus FD 28 Nashville is made of solid AA Sitka spruce, back and sides of solid East Indian Rosewood. The satin-finished mahogany neck (C-profile) is equipped with a tiger stripe ebony fingerboard (radius: 16", 21 polished medium frets, Tusq saddle), the bridge also consists of tiger stripe ebony and comes with a compensated Tusq nut. The headstock features a Indian rosewood veneer, Framus logo and mother-of- pearl inlays, and Vintage Grover open gear gold machine heads (ratio 18: 1). These high-class instruments are equipped with Fishman Prefix Plus T preamp system and Cleartone Acoustic 012 - 053 strings.
The following finishes are available:
- Vintage Transparent Satin Natural Tinted
- Vintage Transparent High Polish Natural Tinted
- Vintage Dark Sunburst Transparent High Polish
Each instrument comes with a separate optional black pickguard. Other pickguard finishes (Crème, Tortoise and Transparent) are available from your dealer or in our web shop. All Framus Legacy Acoustics are handcrafted in P.R. China.
