Aldrich has always been a cable guy until now. He’s currently using a Lectrosonics wireless unit which fits on his pedalboard. The wireless runs into an MXR Phase 90, Dunlop CAE wah, and his signature Majik Box RF-1 Doug Aldrich Rocket Fuel Overdrive/Boost. From there, the signal hits a Schaffer Replica, and an Ernie Ball volume pedal that feeds a “Y” cable into a TC Electronic PolyTune Mini and an MXR Talk Box with a Shure SM57 mic via the tuner out. The volume pedal’s output runs to an MXR Carbon Copy and an Eventide H9 effect pedal that sends the signal to his Marshalls. A second Eventide H9 effect pedal is triggered by a Boss FS-5U and runs through the effects loop of the Marshall JMP. Aldrich switches channels of the JMP with his Boss FS-5L pedal. The pedalboard is powered by Big Joe Power Box.
