Schertler Introduces the ROY Acoustic Combo

A 400-watt, 7-channel combo that is equipped with a 1” tweeter and two 8” woofers.

Mendrisio, Switzerland (December 13, 2017) -- Swiss manufacturer Schertler S.A officially introduces the ROY flagship combo to NAMM show visitors. ROY is a recent addition to the Swiss manufacturer’s range of acoustic amplification systems.

ROY is Schertler’s new top-of-the-range combo amplifier for acoustic instruments. The 400-watt, 7-channel amp provides a powerful yet lightweight system that is perfect for soloists and/or small groups - on stage and in the studio. Equipped with a 1” tweeter and two 8” woofers, ROY offers four input channels with various microphone / instrument combinations, inserts (as on a professional mixer), 3-band EQ and phantom power; an additional unbalanced instrument input channel; a stereo input channel for playback devices and an FX return / additional input channel.

ROY has the same hi-end Class-A preamps found in other Schertler amplifiers. Its Master section includes a digital reverb and a new digital Multi-Effect (on a separate bus), as well as DI/Line/Aux Outs and a headphone preamp. The amp is available with a wood or anthracite finish.

ROY is currently available from the Schertler online store, as well as via Schertler showrooms worldwide.
