ValveTrain Introduces the PowerTrain Series

A new series of powered monitors designed for modeling amplifiers.

Altamonte Springs, FL (June 5, 2018) -- ValveTrain Amplification has introduced its new PowerTrain series of powered monitors for amplifying modeling processors. The PowerTrain is the first product of its kind to bring all-tube analog power to the digital world for guitarists who wish to achieve a killer stage tone when using any one of the great modeling/profiling processors.

Rick Gessner, owner of Valve Train, explains; “We created the Power Train series for the guitarist who needs the convenience and versatility of modeling/profiling amplification but wants the tone, feel, and performance of an all tube power stage.”

“With the current crop of truly great processors out there for guitar, we felt that there was still something that could be improved upon. We wanted to take a bit of the edge out of the digital world and add some analog warmth and feel to provide guitarists an exceptional playing experience while still allowing them the versatility and convenience of whatever processors they want to use.”

The PowerTrain series consists of the PowerTrain Studio 20 and PowerTrain Stage 50.

The PowerTrain Studio 20 is an all tube 20-Watt class A/B monitor housed in a 1 x 10” combo cabinet.

Street Price for the Studio 20 is $1199.99

The PowerTrain Stage 50 provides 50-Watts of all tube class A/B monitoring housed in a 1 x 12” combo.

Street Price for the Stage 50 is $1499.00

Both models are made by hand in the US at the Valve Train facility in Altamonte Springs, Florida and will be on display at Booth #952 at Summer NAMM 2018.
