Longwood, FL (November 19, 2018) -- The Carl Martin Comp/Limiter is based on our original pro-series Compressor/Limiter, yet without the more complex features like threshold and response.
Just like the Carl Martin Compressor/Limiter, we believe this unit to be the most musically useful guitar dynamics processor on the market. It has been developed to incorporate the same features, sonic clarity, quietness, and performance of the best studio compressor/limiters.
Compression is a very good effect for overall use, it smoothes out your uneven dynamics, increases sub tones which otherwise would stay too weak in the overall sound. It also gives more depth, body and sustain for a fuller sound. This is great for especially solos. Just set the level knob to match the desired solo level. For more compression turn the compress knob clockwise, and adjust your level to match the bypass level.
The Carl Martin Comp/Limiter features top mounted in/output jacks, DC Jack for external PSU.
PLEASE NOTE: The Carl Martin Comp/Limiter does not accept 9V battery, only external 9V DC supply (not included)
