Lawrence Petross Design Unveils the Sixty 8 Drive Deluxe

An all-analog overdrive pedal designed for to cop a classic plexi tone.

Mesa, AZ (November 26, 2018) -- Following a long line of handcrafted effects pedals, Lawrence Petross Design introduces the Sixty 8 Deluxe.

The Sixty 8 Deluxe is an all-analog overdrive pedal designed for the discerning musician seeking a classic Plexi tone. This pedal truly brings your playing to life with a transparent overdrive. It offers all of the tube-like warmth of a 68 Plexi, with none of the fizz. The Sixty 8 delivers everything from light break up to the growling roar of a Plexi in a conveniently sized 4.75”L x 3.63”W pedal.

Ayla Tesler-Mabe of Calpurnia and Ludic, along with Keven Eknes and Beau Hendrich, both flourishing session musicians in Nashville TN, all rave about the amazing tones they achieve with the Sixty 8 Deluxe.

The Deluxe version offers all of the amazing tones of the original Sixty 8 Drive, plus a convenient footswitch to choose between two gain stages. A boost switch has also been added bringing an already stellar pedal to new tonal heights.

Lawrence Petross—drawing upon over ten years experience building amps and pedals—devoted 6 months to design and perfect the circuit found in the Sixty 8 Drive. Each pedal is handcrafted by Lawrence in Mesa, Arizona, using only the finest parts available.
