Montreal, Canada (February 14, 2008) -- To commemorate 25 years of Canadian acoustic guitar craftsmanship, Seagull is introducing two Limited Edition 25th Anniversary acoustic guitars: the Seagull Anniversary CW Flame Maple EQ and Mahogany Spruce.
Both models feature Seagull’s Select Pressure-Tested solid spruce tops, which aim to ensure optimal stiffness and rigidity for maximum harmonic vibration. Other characteristics include a high-gloss custom polished finish, Adirondack spruce bracing, double binding, intricate wood rosette, deluxe gold tuning machines with cream buttons, a special commemorative certificate and 25th Anniversary headstock logo.
The Anniversary CW Flame Maple EQ’s back & sides are flame maple, made from a 3-layer lamination of hard wood, as well as a high-gloss flame maple veneer on the headstock. The guitars also come with on-board electronics and a Seagull gig bag. The Anniversary Mahogany Spruce features a high-gloss mahogany veneer on the headstock, all solid wood, with solid mahogany back & sides and a solid spruce top.
