Jeff Loomis's new signature Schecter (looming there in black, of course) is interestingly a less refined version of his original signature in some ways. Jeff chalks that up to the EMG 57/66 pickup set that in Jeff's words, feel more natural and "make him fight for the tone a bit" with seven strings and 24 frets, there's a lot of tones to fight with.
