Famed high-end U.K. luthier Patrick J. Eggle designs all Faith Guitars’ more affordable Indonesian-made models, but the two new acoustics Faith brought to Musikmesse are called PJE Signature models because they feature special wood combinations. The Neptune (left) features a cedar top, rosewood appointments, and very nicely figured back and sides made of British rippled sycamore. Meanwhile, the Venus has a remarkably blond spruce top, ebony appointments, and stunningly figured Macassar ebony back and sides.
