"G.E. Smith splits his time on the Wall Tour between guitar and bass. While he often uses Roger's own bass while Roger is on guitar, this BC bass is his go-to. Built by Rick Kelly of New York's Carmine Street Guitars, the BC Bass is made of 200-year-old pine taken from buildings in NYC я 165 Bowery for the body and the Chelsea Hotel for the neck (hence BC). The neck is shaped like an upright bass neck and the pickups are specially wound Lindy Fralin low-output single-coils wired in series with two volume controls. G.E. says he uses this bass for heavier parts because it has a big sound."
