"After DуAngelicoуs death, DуAquisto did repairs for nearly a year before building guitars on his own. Among his first instruments was a New Yorker Special in 1967 that bore most of the hallmarks of a DуAngelico, but with some modifications. DуAquisto would have a career that stretched into the 1990s, during which he contributed both traditional and more modern guitar designs."
