Rockfabrik Effects Introduces the Mind Abuse

The pedal features three distortion modes: classic, vintage, and modern.

Istanbul, Turkey (June 18, 2018) -- Mind Abuse is a high-gain distortion pedal which has three distortion structures: classic, vintage, and modern. It is designed to create high-gain distortion tones with very low noise level by using a tube, solid state or modelling amp.

The modes behave like three different distortion pedals. Modern mode is used with drop tuning and 7-8 string guitars. Classic mode is for '90s rock and heavy metal. Vintage mode has more mids and is good to use low-gain settings for rock and startlingly fit death metal. Mind Abuse has a very transparent sound, rich harmonic content, and warm distortion tones thus you can hear every single detail even when you are playing fast at the high gain settings and home practice level.

Features:

  • Internal charge pump and regulator: Provides more warm harmonics and eliminate all ripple noise because of poor power supplies.
  • Mode switch (CVM): changes harmonic contents of distortion, thus it changes distortion structure and Mind Abuse behaves like three different distortion pedals. Also, the EQ responds different ways for the different modes
  • Unusual three band EQ: Standard EQs change tones but Mind Abuse has an EQ which can change structure of distortion. Treble adds fizz, bass adds just hammer, mid adds grittiness.
  • Deluxe Parts: %99,9 purity silver wires, Wima and Panasonic audio caps, high quality metal film resistors for the most transparent and natural sound.

Mind Abuse is available for $239 at Angel City Guitars LA and Steve Music Center NY

Onstage, Tommy Emmanuel executes a move that is not from the playbook of his hero, Chet Atkins.

Recorded live at the Sydney Opera House, the Australian guitaristā€™s new album reminds listeners that his fingerpicking is in a stratum all its own. His approach to arranging only amplifies that distinctionā€”and his devotion to Chet Atkins.

Australian fingerpicking virtuoso Tommy Emmanuel is turning 70 this year. Heā€™s been performing since he was 6, and for every solo show heā€™s played, heā€™s never used a setlist.
