Floyd Rose Introduces the FRX and 8-String Tremolos

Los Angeles, CA (December 6, 2012) – Floyd Rose continues its legacy of innovation with the brand new surface-mounting FRX Tremolo System for Les Paul, SG, and Flying V-style

Los Angeles, CA (December 6, 2012) – Floyd Rose continues its legacy of innovation with the brand new surface-mounting FRX Tremolo System for Les Paul, SG, and Flying V-style guitars. The FRX is a direct swap for the Tune-O-Matic and stopbar type bridge system, using the existing mounting stud holes and requiring no routing whatsoever. The locking nut is a truss rod cover/nut hybrid which simply swaps with the original nut and cover.

Finally a solution with the functionality and reliability that is synonymous with authentic Floyd Rose tremolo systems. Available in these finishes - chrome, black, gold, nickel, black nickel, antique silver, antique bronze, satin chrome, satin black, and satin gold.

Floyd Rose has also announced that the Floyd Rose 8-string tremolo is now available for purchase. Featuring the same classic features of the Original and constructed with hardened steel, you can now explore unknown sonic territories with ease. The FR-8 was first used by Schecter for their acclaimed Hellraiser C-8 FR, and it is now time for all 8-string players to have the opportunity to own one. The kit includes the FR-8 tremolo bridge, locking nut, springs and claw, pivot screws, and all necessary hardware for installation. Available in chrome, black, gold, and black nickel.
