EBS Introduces Line of Patch and Insert Cables

The insert cable allows you to place other pedals inside an effects loop.

Sweden (March 24, 2014) -- EBS of Sweden announces the Flat Patch cables for connecting pedals on pedal boards and the Y-Type insert cables. These cables are part of EBS line of pedal accessories, including power supplies, split cables, connectors as well as the newly introduced EBS Carry-On ‘hand luggage approved’ pedal board and bag. See, Strings & Accessories on the EBS website for info.

PCF-10, 18, 28 and 58 patch cables
EBS has released new innovative patch cables to use on pedal boards. The cables are extremely low resistant and well shielded, to prevent signal loss. The flat design and flat, compact connector housings offer the possibility to save plenty of space on your pedal board, still with full flexibility to easily remove and replace pedals when needed. The EBS patch cables are available in four different lengths, 10 cm (3.9 inch), 18 cm (7.1 inch), 28 cm (11 inch) and 58 cm (22.8 inch). Price $3 to $5.50 approx.

ICY-30, insert cable
Based on a similar design, EBS now present a Y-type insert cable to use with the effect loops on the EBS Billy Sheehan Signature Drive (or similar pedals). The cable has a Stereo connector at one end, split into two male mono connectors representing the ring and the tip of the stereo connector used as send and return respectively to create a loop. The cables are 30 cm (11.8 inch) each, to offer full flexibility. Price approx $13.

Walrus Audio is a prolific builder, but, as the five reverb pedals in their lineup suggest, they have a real affinity for manipulating time and space. The beauty of the Slötvå reverb (which is derived from the company’s very similar Spin FV-1 chip-based Slö reverb) is how satisfying and simple it makes dramatic shifts between time/space textures.
