"Perhaps his most oddball guitar, the ""Bona-bird"" was commissioned by Bonamassa because he dug Firebirds but they tended to be neck heavy. It combines a reverse Firebird neck with a Les Paul body with just a single humbucker in the bridge. He says, ""The jury's a bit out on the aesthetic of it, but I actually dig it.""
