Rig Rundown: August Burns Red

The Grammy-nominated outfit shows us the Ibanez guitars, Kiesel basses, and Kemper and Ampeg amps that ignite their metalcore sound.

The Axe-Fx handles most of the effects, but on the floor JB’s pedalboard holds two Sennheiser G3 wireless units with an A/B box for switching between them for guitar changes. From there the signal hits a PolyTune Mini and an Ibanez WD7 Weeping Demon Wah. Last in line is the DigiTech Drop that allows JB to enter low or alternative tunings without changing axes. A RJM MasterMind MIDI Controller switches the Fractal effects and a T-Rex FuelTank Chameleon supplies the power.
