Kiesel Guitars Introduces Two New Artist Signature Models

The Will Swan and Marc Okubo signature instruments bring fascinating new perspectives to well-established Kiesel favorites.

Escondido, CA (February 21, 2020) -- Kiesel Guitars has announced the company’s first two artist signature models of the new decade: the Will Swan and Marc Okubo signature instruments each bring a fascinating new perspective to well-established Kiesel favorites.

Will Swan Signature (WS6S):

Swan, the prolific guitarist from bands such as Dance Gavin Dance (DGD) and Sianvar, among others, personally picked the options that perfectly suit his diverse musical approach. Because of his versatility in the music world, this model works for virtually any style, whether that’s playing alongside both clean and unclean vocals as lead guitarist, seen in DGD, or composing an intense yet soulful piece, present in his groups Sianvar and Royal Coda.

Based on Kiesel’s acclaimed California Single Cut Carved Top (CS6S) model, the Will Swan signature comes standard with a 5-piece mahogany neck w/ maple stripes accompanying a natural gloss finish, our traditional-style headstock with flame wood, along with a new, very fitting white acrylic swan inlay located near the 12-fret. Five of Swan's favorite colors are also available, which include Select Raspberry Jam, Scarlet Red, Select Purple Drink, our new Select Midnight Blue, and a clear finish. Join one of the industry’s most innovative players with Kiesel’s fresh artist sig!

WS6S starts at $1,999.00

Marc Okubo Signature (MO7X):

Kiesel Guitars also proudly presents the Marc Okubo Signature model (MO7X). Teaming up with Kiesel-family member Marc Okubo of Veil of Maya, the MO7X is perfectly stylized for the modern and creative metalcore sound that he brings to the scene.

Inspired by Kiesel’s long-running DC700X, this artist signature uses a modern look and takes it a step further, with a standard raw tone finish and popular colors such as sky blue, Kiesel racing green, and purple lavender, among others. By using swamp ash as the standard body wood, the low-end and nice highs of any genre are perfectly delivered and also offers the light weight comfortability. With the implementation of Kiesel polarity actives, a standard 7-string setup, and a thinner neck profile, the MO7X cements itself as the new standard for the sleek feel and sound of the contemporary heavy genres.

The MO7X starts at $1,599.00

English singer-songwriter Robyn Hitchcock is as recognizable by tone, lyrics, and his vibrantly hued clothing choices as the sound of Miles Davis’ horn.

The English guitarist expands his extensive discography with 1967: Vacations in the Past, an album paired with a separate book release, both dedicated to the year 1967 and the 14-year-old version of himself that still lives in him today.

English singer-songwriter Robyn Hitchcock is one of those people who, in his art as well as in his every expression, presents himself fully, without scrim. I don’t know if that’s because he intends to, exactly, or if it’s just that he doesn’t know how to be anyone but himself. And it’s that genuine quality that privileges you or I, as the listener, to recognize him in tone or lyrics alone, the same way one knows the sound of Miles Davis’ horn within an instant of hearing it—or the same way one could tell Hitchcock apart in a crowd by his vibrantly hued, often loudly patterned fashion choices.
