Markneukirchen, Germany (April 4, 2019) -- The RockBoard® MOD 5 was one of the highlights at the Framus & Warwick booth at this year’s Winter NAMM Show, where the RockBoard® novelties won the coveted “Best in Show Award”.
The RockBoard® MOD 5 extends the range of modules for the entire RockBoard® program (except RockBoard® DUO 2.0 and DUO 2.1) and offers guitarists and bassists 6 selectable IR-based mono/stereo speaker simulations, with support for user IRs (max. 1024 pts.), an active DI, a headphone port, as well as a micro-USB port (IR load, PC/MAC editor, firmware updates). 6 IRs for electric guitar and electric bass are included.
In addition, like all RockBoard® modules, MOD 5 offers a simple solution for organizing all connections to and from an effect setup. Whether you are using a RockBoard® or any other brand pedalboard – the MOD 5 will open completely new possibilities. The speaker cab simulation & DI let’s you go direct, providing YOUR sound, whatever backline is being provided at the venue you’re playing. You want to use your favorite cab? No problem, load an impulse response of its sound into the MOD 5 and you have it with you, wherever you go. The patchbay part is designed to route connections from underneath your pedalboard to its front, in order to give you a central access point to your setup and tidy up your connections. For silent and on the road practicing, the MOD 5 also provides a headphone amplifier with adjustable output volume.
Comes incl. mounting screws, counter nuts and TX wrench. Power is supplied via an optional 9V DC power supply unit.
