CandoMusos Supergroup to Perform at NAMM 2017

For the first time in history, disabled musicians are set to open the biggest music trade show in North America.

Danbury, CT (January 16, 2017) -- With the United Nations' International Day of Persons with Disabilities having occurred in December, CandoMusos (www.candomusos.com), the global voice for disabled musicians, is proud to announce that a Supergroup of its members has been selected to play CenterStage at the opening of the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) 2017 conference on January 19th @ 11AM. The event will be hosted by drumming's global ambassador Dom Famularo. Playing in the band will be members of The Mendenhall Experiment: Brandon Mendenhall, Nate Stockton, Mario Valadez, drummers Andrew Hewitt, Joe Hardy, David Segal, Dean Zimmer and Mark Goffeney, who plays guitar with his feet. Also just confirmed CandoMusos members from Chile and Venezuela will be joining us.

CandoMusos has over 260 members from 29 countries that use our free website fostering worldwide communication among disabled musicians.

This past spring CandoMusos worked with the BBC get 10 of its members into a commercial that was used to promote the Paralympics. The campaign is entitled “Yes I Can”, used the song of the same title that was made popular by Sammy Davis Jr. It has been viewed over 7 million times.
