Dunlop MXR EVH 5150 Chorus

Dunlop is here at NAMM showing off the new MXR EVH 5150 Chorus that's based on the chorus unit Ed used on some of Van Halen's most revered recordings from the early '80s. With three dials for volume, tone, and intensity, the pedal also has input- and output-level pad switches, mono and stereo outputs, and an internal true/buffered bypass switch.

He calls the process both “very easy” and “normal.” They discuss the pros and cons of the various used-gear outlets and share tips for not getting got when buying gear. Plus, Zach grew a mustache, Mythos Pedals is moving, and he talks about his forthcoming line of Strat pickups inspired by Hendrix’s reverse-stagger setup.
