Rig Rundown: Guided by Voices

Doug Gillard, Mark Shue, and Bobby Bare Jr. reveal how a few quirky vintage axes, some classic amps, and a few utilitarian pedals get the job done night after night.

Bobby Bare Jr.’s No. 1 is a 1964 Gibson SG Junior with a Badass bridge, a stock P-90 pickup, and a mysterious hole drilled through the top. The Jr is strung with D’Addario .010-gauge strings.
