Quilter Labs Expands Bass Offerings with Bass Block 802

An ultra-light, 800-watt head that features a 4-band EQ, headphone out, and universal power supply.

Costa Mesa, CA (September 20, 2019) -- Quilter Labs today introduces the new Bass Block 802, an 800 watt bass amplifier. As a part of the Bass Block Series, this new Bass amplifier is ideal for the professional bassist who needs serious professional gear for performance and touring as well as the casual player needing a compact solution that can go the distance.

“The Bass Block 802 takes everything you fell in love with on the Bass Block 800 to new heights,” said company CEO Christopher Parks. “We are thrilled to take the Bass Block series to the next level of performance and usability. With a revisited control set, an all-new Pre/Post/Headphone out, and FX Loop, the Bass Block 802 expands the functionality of the amplifier without sacrificing the power, reliability, or musical responsiveness of the original.”

The Bass Block Series deliver up to 800 watts of pristine power for bassists and keyboardists requiring significant power with a controlled responsiveness that is reactive to the input level and power to deliver an unmatched performance of bass amplification. The Bass Block Series utilizes a custom built power amplification section that works in conjunction with the pre amplifier enabling multi band limiting which prevents unwanted power ducking and loss when power is needed most. In conjunction with Quilter’s BassDock™ series cabinets, the Bass Block series becomes a powerfully expandable system enabling bassists the power to build as small or as large a system as they need.

Quilter Labs will showcase the Bass Block 802 and their BassDock™ Series at their booth at the NAMM show booth 4144. The BassBlock 802 is shipping immediately.

“The guitar is my first love, my partner in life. We grew up together and we’ll most likely die together.” —Thom Bresh
