A period-correct take on classic vintage sounds.

Nashville, TN (January 31, 2017) -- After listening to so many PAF reissue pickups that don’t really sound authentic and have very little to offer tonally, Schuyler decided to make the most accurate PAF that he possibly could. He sourced parts made right here in the USA and used a special acid-aging process to make the parts look 50 years old.

Some of the period-correct features include maple spacers, butyrate bobbins, plain-enamel wire, braided leads, 49.2mm spacing, and a lack of wax potting. The result is a medium-vintage output, organic openness, pleasing high-end bite, and a growl in the lower mids. Highlights include…

  • Handwound in the USA
  • USA made parts
  • Rough-cast Alnico 2 magnets
  • 5000-5050 turns
  • 10% underwound neck pickup for clarity
  • Lifetime warranty

Handmade in Schuyler’s Nashville workshop, Eisenhower Hi-Fi USA pickups are $175 each.
