Video Premiere: Sir Richard Bishop "Guitar Talk"

The 6-string legend details the expensive, rare guitar that he had to have.

While living in Geneva, Sir Richard Bishop visited an obscure guitar shop and happened upon a rare acoustic that he’d never seen anything quite like. The unidentified model is thought to be from the 19th century but has only the label “C. Bruno” on the inside. This guitar was the catalyst for his new album, Tangier Sessions, out February 17. The album was improvised and recorded entirely using this sole guitar in a room in Tangier, Morocco. Fun fact: Bishop plays for the first time without a guitar pick on the album.
