Furch Guitars Introduces Luxury Guitar Straps

The straps are made of two layers of premium nubuck bovine leather featuring an extra-large width.

Velké Němčice, the Czech Republic (November 2, 2018) -- Furch Guitars (Furch), one of the world's leading manufacturers of premium quality guitars, is introducing proprietary handmade leather guitar straps designed to provide players with excellent comfort and unmatched playing stability.

Furch's new handmade guitar straps combine exquisite craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and an ingenious design that allows evenly distributing the weight of the instrument without inhibiting the player's technique. The straps are made of two layers of premium nubuck bovine leather featuring an extra-large width of 6.4 centimeters (2.52 inches). The inside is filled with a four-millimeter (0.16 inches) layer of anti-deformation foam, which, in combination with the soft leather, guarantees maximum playing comfort. The strap length is adjustable within a range of 100 to 120 centimeters (39.37 to 47.25 inches).

Furch straps are available in black and brown. Their streamlined stylish design is underscored by a pressed silver or brown Furch logo and lining rendered in the same color. The straps are available already now at all Furch Guitars authorized dealers.

While Monolord has no shortage of the dark and heavy, guitarist and vocalist Thomas V Jäger comes at it from a perspective more common to pop songsmiths.

Melodies, hooks, clean tones, and no guitar solos. Are we sure this Elliott Smith fan fronts a doom-metal band? (We’re sure!)

Legend has it the name Monolord refers to a friend of the band with the same moniker who lost hearing in his left ear, and later said it didn’t matter if the band recorded anything in stereo, because he could not hear it anyway. It’s a funny, though slightly tragic, bit of backstory, but that handle is befitting in yet another, perhaps even more profound, way. Doom and stoner metal are arguably the torch-bearing subgenres for hard rock guitar players, and if any band seems to hold the keys to the castle at this moment, it’s Monolord.
