For pickguard artist Andrew Bingham of Decoboom, it all starts with Andy Warhol, who said: "An artist is somebody who produces things that people don't need to have." His engraved and handpainted pickguards are going on the ElectroHorse guitars of Zachary Kordosky, such as The Magnet (middle right). Check out ElectroHorse's The Mule model (left): It's a handmade semi-hollow body, single-pickup workhorse with a Seymour Duncan 59 and unique sound vents. "We don't use computers," says Kordosky. "It's all kindergarten day youthfulness."
