"John Baizley has a more complex board that incorporates some of the more out-there effects heard on the bandуs recordings. Baizley says he changes up his board for every tour, but gravitates toward true-bypass boutique pedals. Pictured is his р75 percentс pedalboard used on the spring 2010 Baroness tour with Mastodon in support of Baronessу ""Blue Record."" The signal chain includes an Ernie Ball Volume pedal, Fulltone OCD, Boss DD-3 Digital Delay, Maxon AD999 Analog Delay, Blackout Effectors Whetstone Phaser, Blackout Effectors Twosome, Retro-Sonic Chorus, and Electro-Harmonix POG-2 for cathedral-like organ sounds, powered by a BBE Supa-Charger. He also used an MXR Blue Box and Catalinbread Semaphore Tremolo (not pictured). "

Zach loves his Sovtek Mig 60 head, which he plays through a cab he built himself at a pipe-organ shop in Denver. Every glue joint is lined with thin leather for maximum air tightness, and it’s stocked with Celestion G12M Greenback speakers.
