His main ride for this run is this Warwick Idolmaker 4-string that was modded to have a Nordstrand NP4 P-style pickup. The large switch is to kill his signal for sudden starts and stops, while the smaller toggle illuminates his fretboard so he can have a roadmap when playing on the dark stage. All his basses use Ernie Ball .045–.105 strings and he hammers away with Dunlop 2.0 mm or .73 mm Tortex picks.
