Jensen Speakers Releases the P6V and the C6V

Both speakers are rated at 20 watts.

Scottsdale, AZ (June 9, 2015) -- Jensen Musical Instrument Speakers is pleased to announce the newest additions to the Jensen Vintage reissue series of speakers - the P6V and the C6V. Both new speakers are 6 inch and rated at 20 watts.

The P6V features an Alnico magnet and has warm, clean tone with sparkling highs. The C6V is extremely versatile, clean and firm with top-end chime and features a ceramic magnet. Both speakers emanate classic vintage tone and are available in 4 and 8 ohms.

Jensen Vintage reissue speakers have the classic look and vintage tone of the original Jensen speakers of the 1950’s and the 1960’s.

The reissue of these new speakers demonstrates Jensen’s ongoing tradition of delivering what players are seeking in tone.

Gibson’s Theodore model

PRS Guitars and Ted McCarty family drop “Theodore” trademark objection, and Gibson agrees to drop opposition to PRS’s “594” and “Silver Sky Nebula” trademarks and trademark applications.

PRS Guitars yesterday announced that it has withdrawn its objection to Gibson’s registration of the “Theodore” trademark. In a press release, PRS stated it continues to hold dear and protect its long-standing agreement with Ted McCarty and the McCarty family regarding the exclusive rights to the “McCarty” trademark and to McCarty’s name and persona, first developed directly with Ted himself more than 25 years ago. After a series of private negotiations, Gibson has also agreed to drop its opposition to PRS’s “594” and “Silver Sky Nebula” trademarks and trademark applications.
