Edmond, OK (November 18, 2014) -- Keeley Electronics today announced it is shipping their new compression effect pedal. The 100% hand-built GC-2 Limiting Amplifier is a unique and modern circuit that delivers studio quality compression for guitar players in stomp box format.

With controls for Compression, Threshold, Gain, and Threshold indicator the GC-2 gives players simple and effect tools to accomplish high quality compression. Using dbx-inspired circuitry we crafted a compressor that has exceed our expectations. The GC-2 features ultra low noise and incredible transparency. It also gives players a huge range of compression from 1:1 to 1:Infinity Compression, and up to 30dB boost. The new GC-2 is designed to work with active pre-amps as well so acoustic guitar players will delight in having a compressor/limiter that finally has the ability to meet their difficult demands. The new GC-2 Compressor and Limiting Amplifier can easily be used as a hard-line limiter so your recordings will never be damaged by high levels.

Though compressors are often used to add excitement to flat tones, pedal compressors for guitar are often ā€¦ boring. Not so theWarm Audio Pedal76. The FET-driven, CineMag transformer-equipped Pedal76 is fun to look at, fun to operate, and fun to experiment with. Well, maybe itā€™s not fun fitting it on a pedalboardā€”at a little less than 6.5ā€ wide and about 3.25ā€ tall, itā€™s big. But its potential to enliven your guitar sounds is also pretty huge.
