Reverend Guitars Unveils the Charger 290 LE

A limited-edition model loaded with CP90s and a Bigsby B-50.

Livonia, MI (May 21, 2015) -- Last Fall, Reverend Guitars took the Charger 290 and turned up the volume a bit to make a limited-edition model. Because of the initial release's popularity, Reverend is bringing it back in three more colors and offering it throughout 2015. The model is available in three preferred colors: Metallic Black, Metallic Copper Fire, and Metallic Rose, all with cream pickguards and cream pickup covers. Each has a Bigsby B-50 with Reverend’s own soft-touch spring. Every Charger 290 LE comes with an exclusive Souldier Strap that matches each color with each company’s logo on the ends.

Chicago Music Exchange wanted to be a part of the unique model, so they had fifteen exclusive Great Lakes Blue Charger 290 LEs made for their store. The CME exclusives also come with a special Souldier Strap.

The Reverend Charger 290 has an excellent vintage tone that’s better than you remember. Loaded with Reverend’s CP90s, this model is fantastic for both clean and distorted tones – twangy enough for country, but thick enough for rock. Like all Reverends, the Charger 290 has a Korina body and three-piece neck, a graphite nut and locking tuners, Reverend’s Bass Contour Control, and a dual-action truss rod – all for maximum performance.

You can't be different if you're playing what everyone else is.
