Tanglewood Guitar Company Introduces the T3 Acoustic Amplifier

A 30W, twin-channel, compact acoustic amplifier with a single 6" woofer/tweeter.

Montreal, Quebec (January 9, 2015) -- Tanglewood Guitar Company UK, the United Kingdomā€™s best-selling acoustic guitar brand, is excited to release its new T3 acoustic amplifier to North America at the 2015 NAMM Show.

The Tanglewood T3 is a 30W, twin-channel, compact acoustic amplifier with a single 6ā€ woofer/tweeter. It features true digital reference effects including hall reverb, plate reverb, chorus and delay, and offers inputs and outputs for a number of professional applications: two 1/4" inputs (Channel 1 and 2), AUX IN, MP3 IN, Tuner Out, DI Out (XLR), Line Out, and Phones Out.

The T3 delivers natural, clear sound quality with rich detail, in a small and lightweight package. The amp's two channels are perfectly suited to handle guitar as well as vocals, making it a great choice for singer/ songwriters and gigging guitarists. Line Out and balanced DI Out options make the T3 an ideal on-stage companion for acoustic guitar.

Stevie Van Zandt with ā€œNumber One,ā€ the ā€™80s reissue Stratocasterā€”with custom paisley pickguard from luthier Dave Petilloā€”that heā€™s been playing for the last quarter century or so.

With the E Street Band, heā€™s served as musical consigliere to Bruce Springsteen for most of his musical life. And although he stands next to the Boss onstage, guitar in hand, heā€™s remained mostly quiet about his work as a playerā€”until now.

Iā€™m stuck in Stevie Van Zandtā€™s elevator, and the New York City Fire Department has been summoned. Itā€™s early March, and I am trapped on the top floor of a six-story office building in Greenwich Village. On the other side of this intransigent door is Van Zandtā€™s recording studio, his guitars, amps, and other instruments, his Wicked Cool Records offices, and his man cave. The latter is filled with so much day-glo baby boomer memorabilia that itā€™s like being dropped into a Milton Glaser-themed fantasy landā€”a bright, candy-colored chandelier swings into the room from the skylight.
