New York, NY (November 20, 2012) – Aguilar is pleased to announce the AG 4P/J-HC hum-canceling pickup set. The AG 4P/J-HC set brings together matched Precision and Jazz-style pickups including Aguilar’s successful AG 4P-60 P-Bass pickup and the recently released AG 4J-HC bridge pickup.

Many P/J setups have pickups that are mismatched sonically – an overly deep neck pickup with puny bridge pickup tone. By way of contrast, the Aguilar AG 4P/J-HC is a well-balanced set that provides a flexible array of tones, whether using each pickup alone or in combination. Now you can get the thunderous lows of the neck pickup or the midrange cut of the bridge – or both - without 60 cycle hum.

Like all Aguilar pickups, the AG 4P/J-HC set is wound in Aguilar’s NYC factory and is a direct replacement for 4-string Fender P-Bass and Jazz bridge pickups. The pickups use 42 gauge Formvar wire and Alnico V magnets for the big, dynamic tone that Aguilar pickups are known for.

The AG 4P/J-HC pickups will be available December 1st 2012 and carry a U.S. street price of $185.00.
