Mattoverse Electronics Releases the Drone Tone MkIII

A tunable square wave oscillator inside a standard-sized stompbox.

Onalaska, WI (May 9, 2019) -- Do you desire the accompaniment of brutal buzzing, blatant beeping, or raucous rhythmic pulses? If so, the Drone Tone MkIII from Mattoverse Electronics may be just the pedal for you. The Drone Tone is a pitch and rate controllable square wave oscillator (drone synth) in a stompbox format. Unlike most effects pedals, which seek to alter the tone or voice of the instrument input, the Drone Tone does not affect the input signal and is an additive noise generator which is fun to play along with and also to feed into other effects pedals.

The third iteration of the Drone Tone features a number of upgrades including tap tempo, rate sync input (0-5V), internal pitch range control, and top mounted jacks.

The Drone Tone MkIII sells for a $159 Street Price and is available now in limited quantities directly from Mattoverse Electronics at https://mattoverse.com and through the Mattoverse Electronics Reverb Shop at https://reverb.com/shop/mattoverse
