Elixir Strings for bass are now available in coated stainless steel, with the bright, clear tone typical of stainless bass strings, but easier on the fingers and with a much longer tone life. The original nickel-plated Elixir Strings for bass, now have improved tone, feel and flexibility.

Elixir Strings also refined its patented, ultra-thin Nanoweb Coating especially for bass in order to produce a more natural finger feel and coating durability.
