Larry Smiley sends in two bargain finds. The first is an orange Danelectro hornet reissue. “I got this from Sam Ash in 2011 for $100,” he says. “I changed the knobs and put the EYE stickers on it (they’re sandwiched between the pickguard layers). Otherwise, it’s a stock instrument.”
