The 4-string warrior has a bash with his Fender mash-up P/J bass on “Don’t Break the Needle.” Here’s why he digs the Frankenstein bass: “It’s a Fender Road Worn P-bass body that has a Jazz bass neck. I use the P/J combo because I love the sound of P-bass pickups for rock and roll but the jazz neck is more comfortable in my hands.”
