Deep Trip Guitar Pedals from Brazil is indeed going deeper with their pedal designs. The Stormy Monday overdrive uses a clever filtering circuit to extract mid-heavy, TS-style boost tones at the low end of the gain range and boost low and top end to achieve a compressed Fender Tweed style crunch at more extreme gain levels. The Muff A Saur puts a spin on the "triangle" Big Muff circuit by adding mids control and a high pass filter at the input. The results are beautifully scathing Muff tones at one extreme and burly classic growl at the other. A real brute, but lots of nuance. Both units are $199.
