Tosin Abasi has done much to revitalize the world of shred and fire interest in the possibilities of the complex Axe-Fx II. So while the introduction of the Pathos overdrive/distortion pedal might surprise players that associate Abasi with the most cutting-edge processing tools, the varied sounds, detail, dynamism, and responsiveness the Pathos pedal delivers are both classically Abasi and wildly versatile, making this pedal much more than a branding exercise.
