Ananashead Meteorite
Though the Meteorite is a relatively simple silicon Fuzzrite clone, its top-quality construction and searing but full-bodied fuzz tones made it one of the real bargains among this year’s Premier Gear Award winners. An extra gain stage makes it loud enough for the most raging band. But even though the extra muscle means some deviation from total vintage accuracy, the sounds within are spectacularly satisfying.
