Jext Telex Jonathan Wilson Canyon Climber

A collaboration between two sound-obsessed tinkerers (artist/producer/guitarist Wilson and pedal builder Bob Ebeling), the Canyon Climber takes the somewhat underappreciated Shin-Ei FY-2 circuit and adds an extra dose of thump without sacrificing the quirks (right down to the odd volume drop of the original in the vintage “hipster” setting). The result is a fuzzy, varied, and often ferocious joy to work with.
