Prophets of Rage’s Tim Commerford
Playing all sorts of basses over his illustrious career with Rage, Audioslave, WAKRAT, and most recently, Prophets of Rage, Commerford has come full circle and recently found a home again with Music Man StingRay basses. As he told us in a recent Rig Rundown, “I love Bernard Edwards and Louis Johnson and I grew up playing StingRay basses, but I hadn’t played one in a long time. I love the way it feels.”

Zach loves his Sovtek Mig 60 head, which he plays through a cab he built himself at a pipe-organ shop in Denver. Every glue joint is lined with thin leather for maximum air tightness, and it’s stocked with Celestion G12M Greenback speakers.
